How to Contact Owners of Registered .CA Domains
Even before GDPR (General Data Protection Regulation) came into effect and heavily redacted WHOIS data, .ca registry, operated by CIRA (The Canadian Internet Registration Authority) had one of the most redacted WHOIS results around.
If you qualify as a .ca domain registrant and would like to contact an owner of a domain you’re interested in, there is a simple way to do so.
First, scroll down to the footer of CIRA’s website. Select the link labeled “Interested party contact form” under Legal, policy and compliance.
This will open a form where you enter the domain regarding which you want to contact the owner.
Before your message is sent to the owner, you must confirm your email address:
Shortly after that, your message will be delivered to the owner and will look like this:
It will contain your name, the domain name, and the contents of your message.
